Vincent Voet maakt kans om uitgeroepen te worden tot het grootste wetenschappelijke talent van Nederland en Vlaanderen. De onderzoeker, verbonden aan het lectoraat Circular Plastics bij NHL Stenden, is een van de vijftien genomineerden die door de redactie van New Scientist zijn geselecteerd. Of Vincent ook daadwerkelijk wint, wordt bekendgemaakt tijdens het Weekend van de Wetenschap.

The Groningen Engineering Center of the University of Groningen has awarded Dr Chongnan Ye with the Best Engineering Thesis Award of the year. Dr Ye's thesis, "Design of sustainable polymer networks for advanced applications based on dynamic covalent bonds", was chosen because of the unique scientific impact, long-term relevance for society and its interdisciplinary relations.
