The challenge
Companies that make these parts are very important for many different industries. They make precision pieces and parts that we need in modern society.
The world of technology is rapidly changing. In order to be able to keep fulfilling this function, we need smart, well-trained people. Together with our knowledge partners, we develop study programmes that are ideally suited for what the metal working industry needs.
This is what we do
Greenwise Campus facilitates and supports the current BVT school to further develop into a Centre for Precision Technology and Metal Working. We do this in all kinds of ways, ranging from courses and mini-modules to workshops, learning circles and webinars. Companies can also come to us for knowledge, advice and test facilities.
One aspect of the Centre for Precision Technology and Metal Working involves setting up a level 4 Metal Working Technician programme. We are collaborating on this with training company Stodt and Drenthe College.

At the Centre for Precision Technology and Metal Working, we properly inventory the demand on the job market and the needs of companies. The importance of combining work and learning is our priority and this how training and learning in practice seamlessly coincide.
