Data-driven district approach

The challenge
The future of public health is largely digital. In the Netherlands, we collect more and more data about individual and public health. Altogether, this data forms a valuable source of information. With it, health care policy, research and practices can be more targeted and efficient. We want to contribute to that at Greenwise Campus.

This is what we do
We at Greenwise Campus want to contribute to working with relevant data. In doing so, we particularly look at what the data means for the various parties concerned.

Where we stand now
We are conducting an experiment: can we determine which health issues are happening in a neighbourhood? We examine with this with help of welfare organisations and the Emmen Lifestyle Expertise Centre. Based on the findings, we will together determine which activities and measures are appropriate.

What's next
Data-driven work also demands something from professionals. Because how do you use this data? How can we translate the figures into the living environment of real people? To address these topics, we organise inspiration sessions.
