First Doctoral Candidate NHL Stenden/University of Groningen
The Groningen Engineering Center of the University of Groningen has awarded Dr Chongnan Ye with the Best Engineering Thesis Award of the year. Dr Ye's thesis, "Design of sustainable polymer networks for advanced applications based on dynamic covalent bonds", was chosen because of the unique scientific impact, long-term relevance for society and its interdisciplinary relations.
Hybride onderzoeksgroep Biopolymer and Recycling Innovations
Chongnan voerde zijn onderzoek uit binnen de Hybride onderzoeksgroep Biopolymer and Recycling Innovations (HyBRIt), gevormd door de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen en de NHL Stenden Hogeschool. Hij verdedigde zijn proefschrift op 17 mei 2022 als de eerste promovendus van de Universiteit van het Noorden.
