Kunststoffe sind nützliche Materialien, aber in der Regel nicht sehr nachhaltig. Sie werden aus fossilen Brennstoffen hergestellt. Deren Verfügbarkeit nimmt ab. Aus diesem Grund arbeitet Greenwise Campus intensiv an zirkulären Kunststoffen. Wir suchen nach Möglichkeiten, Kunststoffe länger oder wiederzuverwenden. Und nach biobasierten Rohstoffen zur Herstellung von Kunststoff, wie Rüben, Apfelsäure und Hanf. Damit leisten wir einen Beitrag zu einer nachhaltigen Zukunft. Wij zijn Greenwise Campus. Deze naam past bij onze ambities en zegt direct waar de campus voor staat: vergroenen en verslimmen van de regio. Greenwise Campus is een initiatief van NHL Stenden, Drenthe College, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, provincie Drenthe en gemeente Emmen.

Together with partners in the professional field, students and researchers, we examine which technical and social innovations can make the difference. This way, we can contribute to the health care of the future.
